Krystle Ward – Founder

Like many in the mortgage industry, I didn’t spend my childhood dreaming of becoming a mortgage adviser! After graduating university and travelling, I found myself working at a building society and it was there I discovered that it was my perfect job, combining my love of maths with helping people.

I gained my CeMap qualification and took a new role at a large estate agency, quickly becoming a top performing mortgage adviser within the company. I really loved it, but something felt a little off.

It was the target aspect of the job, being forced to recommend particular solicitors or sell protection from certain providers felt wrong and often wasn’t in the customer’s best interest. I knew there had to be another way and so I branched out on my own!

Warwickshire Mortgages was born from that desire to do things differently, moving away from the typical transactional, sales-driven approach to advising. We believe that people deserve better, so we take the time to truly listen, provide reliable advice and guide you through the whole process with care.

Having a young family myself, I understand the need for flexibility. We put our clients first in everything we do and always go the extra mile for you, and that’s why so many customers return and recommend us.

Jessica McCrea – Mortgage Adviser

Being a mortgage advisor draws together my passion of property and finance. Back in 2012, I worked as a sales negotiator at a popular estate agency and soon realised that I had a clear passion for people, property and thrived on helping clients achieve their home ownership goals.

I soon realised that I wanted to utilise my skillset within Financial Services and decided to gain experience working for a lender as Mortgage Underwriter, specialising in Buy-to- Let lending, whilst gaining my CeMAP qualification.

I started my career as a Mortgage Adviser in 2022 and following maternity leave with my second child, I joined Warwickshire Mortgages in 2025.

I am married with two children who really keep me on my toes! When not working, I can be found chasing them around, taking a long walk with my dog, being in the garden or spending quality time with family and friends.

Being a self-confessed Rightmove addict, I love sharing my client’s excitement and helping them achieve their home ownership goals. “I aim to share my personal and professional experiences to make mortgage advice straight forward and accessible. I’m here for my clients every step of the way, shouldering the stress so that they don’t have to. I particularly enjoy assisting first time buyers, ensuring that they feel confident and have a clear understanding of the house buying process. I also enjoy seeing my clients buy their forever homes, buying investment properties or catching up with existing clients, whilst providing continued advice when their re-mortgage falls due. Whatever the plan is, I’m simply here to help!”
